The Technology Infusion Process
- It is hard to develop compelling lesson plans that including authentic activities
and assessments, that are engaging to students, and that are not hugely difficult
to teach.
- The Technology Infusion Process produces better results with more detailed
lesson plans.
- Not all lesson plans can be improved using technology. The final analysis
has to be whether students learn more, or remember it longer, or make more
connections between disparate ideas.
- You can do a lot just with Internet and application software (that is, what's
available already in your computer lab, or on your laptops (with a projector).
You don't need a lot of specialized hardware and software.
- There are a lot of lesson plans available on the Internet, but many of them
do not involve technology.
