Group Network Assignment
Form groups of two or three.
Your job is to draw a network diagram for the following network.
Probably the easiest tool to use is Visio, but you can use other tools if you like, including Inspiration, Dia, or eDraw (see below).
You may also use any drawing program, using the icons you'll find here. (Use a screen-capture program such as SnagIt to get the icons.)

National Louis Design Corporation (NLD Corp) has a small network in its Lincoln Park townhouse. The townhouse consists of four floors (including a dry finished basement with an MDF room). There are 10 desktop PCs in the building: 3 on the first floor, 3 on the second floor, and 4 on the fourth floor. There is a printer on each floor, each accessible to all of the computers. There is also a wireless network throughout the building that is accessed by from two to ten laptops at a time. The building is connected to DSL via a DSL modem, and includes a server (Microsoft Active Directory, DHCP, DNS, File Server, Print Server, Storage Server, Web Server). There is also a backup server. Both are connected to UPSs. The firewall is software-based.
