Copyright Issues

  1. Complete the Web Institute for Teachers module on Copyright Issues.
  2. Divide into groups of 3 or 4 and choose one or more of the discussion activities given in the module.
  3. Take both quizzes provided with the module.
  4. Send me an email telling me how you did on the quizzes and any suggestions that could help you to have done better.

Searching the Web

  1. Choose a partner and complete the Finding Existing Resources module.
  2. Send me an email (one from each partnership, be sure to include your names) with your 5 URLs on Abraham Lincoln and 5 URLs on the Civil War.
  3. Print out the Search Worksheet, choose a search topic, and use the Search Worksheet to brainstorm a search about that topic. (You do not have to turn the completed worksheet in to the instructor.)
  4. Email the answers to the Advanced Searching Task questions to me.
  5. Email me a summary of the information you read about the invisible web.
