All groups

• Create your own definintion of "virtual reality" using the list of definitions at http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&q=define%3A%22virtual+reality%22. Post your definition to the class message board at http://my.nl.edu.
• After your definition, include a 50-100 word paragraph on what you think the K-12 implications will be of virtual reality in the next 30 years.

Group A

• Summarize the article found at http://www.hitl.washington.edu/publications/m-90-4/m-90-4.html by posting a message on the message board. Prepare a 5 minute presentation for the class. Focus on the implications for K-12.
• Read about head trackers at http://www.vrealities.com/headtrackers.html. Prepare a 2 minute presentation for the class.

Group B

• Summarize the projects being conducted by the HIT Lab at http://www.hitl.washington.edu/projects/ by posting a message on the message board. Prepare a 5 minute presentation for the class. Focus on the implications you see for K-12.
• Read about head mounted displays at http://www.vrealities.com/hmd.html. Prepare a 2 minute presentation for the class.

Group C

• Summarize the article and links found at http://www.education-world.com/a_tech/tech010.shtml in a post to the message board. Prepare a 5 minute presentation for the class, focusing on the examples contained within the article.
